Your unforgettable adventure begins right at the harbour. Your guide will be waiting for you there at the meeting point, and your excursion will begin as soon as you disembark from the ship. Then we'll set off, starting with a boat cruise through the legendary Tortuguero Canals (approx. 1 hour). Surrounded by lush vegetation, you will glide through the “Amazon of Costa Rica” and discover its rich wildlife – with a bit of luck, you will see caimans, colourful birds, monkeys, iguanas, and even crocodiles. The excursion then takes you to the picturesque Playa Bonita, the most beautiful beach in all of Limón. Here, you will have time to put your feet in the sand, enjoy the waves and relax for about 20 minutes.
With renewed energy, you will continue on to Maratopia, a unique tropical jungle garden in the heart of the Caribbean. Let yourself be enchanted by the colourful variety of plants, butterflies such as the large blue morpho, and the sloth bears peacefully slumbering in the trees. With his typically Costa Rican cheerful demeanour, Oscar will ensure your well-being and invite you to a tasting of exotic tropical fruits, most of which are grown on-site – a feast for the senses! To round things off, you can browse the lovingly run souvenir shop, which offers local products from the region.
