This 45-minute Frankfurt city tour brings almost 2,000 years of German history to life in five stops, with a focus on the role of Frankfurt.
Guests are taken on a journey from the first Roman settlers on the Rhine to the fall of the Berlin Wall. However, the special focus is on Frankfurt, St. Paul's Church, and the roots of our modern democracy.
The tour combines a classic city tour with a virtual reality experience. At each stop, visitors put on glasses and look directly into the past.
The journey begins at the meeting point in front of the TimeRide Senseum in Frankfurt and heads towards Station 1.
After a brief introduction, visitors put on VR glasses and experience German history from Roman times to the aftermath of the French Revolution at the beginning of the 19th century. From here, the bridge to freedom, equality, and unity is built. It's about the first democratic steps in Germany and thus about the National Assembly in Frankfurt's Paulskirche.
