Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: CUSCO – CLOUD FOREST - JUNGLE LODGE
Our journey begins with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco at 5:30 AM in our modern private vehicle. From here, we will travel through the breathtaking Andean mountains and picturesque traditional villages. As we climb up into the mountains, you'll have the opportunity to admire spectacular landscapes, with panoramic views of the Andean valleys.
At noon, we will arrive at the entrance to the Manu National Park, a place protected for its biodiversity and considered one of the richest ecosystems in South America. Here we begin our expedition to the cloud forest, home to unique species such as the Andean cock-of-the-rock (Peru's national bird), various species of monkeys, orchids, bromeliads, and many exotic birds such as the blue-banded tucaneta, the golden-headed quetzal, and the crested quetzal.
Our first destination will be the Bambu Lodge, a comfortable, high-quality hostel where we'll stay overnight.
In the evening, we'll go on a nighttime jungle excursion. Armed with torches and wellington boots, we'll explore the trails in search of tarantulas, poison dart frogs, snakes, and nocturnal species such as night monkeys, giant armadillos, and boas. This is a unique experience that can only be enjoyed in the rainforest.
Meals: Lunch and dinner at the lodge.
Accommodation: Amazon Lodge.

We will also have the opportunity to do traditional fishing in a rustic way.
Then we'll visit a hummingbird garden, ideal for observing and photographing different species of hummingbirds. In the surrounding area, we'll go on a hike through the jungle, where we can find monkeys, birds, snakes, and arachnids, and learn about important plants traditionally used by local communities.
On the way back to the lodge, we'll visit a beautiful river with greenish waters, where, depending on the weather conditions, we can see fish and enjoy a refreshing swim to relax surrounded by nature.
