What you can expect

The tour will commence with a drive to Pennington Bay, taking in spectacular views of the Penneshaw coastline. Arrive at a stunning beach where dolphins and whales can often be spotted frolicking in the water, and stop for a photo opportunity.

Visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus, where you can learn how a traditional Australian Bush Product is made at South Australia's only commercial Eucalyptus Oil Distillery. Emu Ridge is an excellent retail outlet that offers an extensive range of local products as well as tastings for Kangaroo Island Ciders. Take a guided tour and learn how the distillation process takes place. Enjoy a wine tasting at Bay of Shoals Wines, before taking a scenic drive into Kingscote where you will stop at a cafe for lunch at your own expense (optional).

Visit Clifford's Honey and learn about the Ligurian Bee, taste the various flavours of honey and have a look around in the gift shop. Visit Kangaroo Island Spirits, enjoy the gin, vodka and liqueur tastings.

Finally, make your way to the island's Lavender Farm. Enjoy lavender scones and a drink of tea or coffee before making your way back to your hotel.
