What you can expect

  • See Austin from a unique perspective on this evening tour of the city's sights. Enjoy a narrated driving tour in a comfortable air-conditioned Mercedes Metris van.

Your guide will take you past the historic Bremond District, stop at the iconic Texas State Capitol where you’ll learn about Texas history, local politics, and impressive architecture, then continue past the Lady Bird Lake Hike-and-Bike Trail, Tom Miller Dam and the peaceful shoreline of Lake Austin, the upscale Rollingwood area, and Zilker Metropolitan Park.

Next, enjoy a narrated boat ride on Lady Bird Lake. Watch the skyline change through beautiful colours as the sun sets. From March to December, experience the magical sight of Mexican free-tailed bats emerging — one of the largest urban bat colonies in the world.

The evening ends with a relaxed return to your City centre Austin hotel.

A pleasant, small-group way to see Austin’s highlights and the famous bat flight without dealing with traffic or crowds.
