Discover the vibrant areas of Puerto Madero, San Telmo, and La Boca on a bicycle tour to some of the most iconic sights in the south of Buenos Aires. Get to know the city with a look at the old harbour docks that became an exclusive area, the Ecological Reserve, and the Plaza de Mayo.
Meet your guide in San Telmo, one of the city's oldest areas, get a quick safety briefing, and then take a comfortable beach cruiser out for your ride through the city. Start the tour with a look at well-preserved colonial architecture, the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, the San Telmo Market, and Dorrego Square.
Next, ride into La Boca, a district known for its brightly painted buildings—especially along the Caminito, the main pedestrian avenue, where you can see artists selling their work. From there, head to Puerto Madero, old docks have been recycled into restaurants, lofts, and offices with great views of the city.
The tour then takes you to the Ecological Reserve between the city and the La Plata River, and then to the Plaza de Mayo, site of major political events dating back to the founding of Buenos Aires. Head back to San Telmo after a look at the Government House, the Cabildo, and the Metropolitan Cathedral.
