Your adventure begins at 4:30 PM at our Nomadex Office in Uyuni city, or we can pick you up from your hotel upon request. From there, embark on a scenic drive to the vast Uyuni Salt Flats, where nature puts on an unforgettable show. As the sun sets, watch the sky transform into a canvas of vibrant colours, capturing the stunning optical illusions created by the endless white salt. Once darkness falls, prepare to be mesmerised as the Milky Way unveils itself in one of the clearest night skies on Earth, offering an extraordinary opportunity for breathtaking starlit photography.

For your comfort, we provide waterproof wellies, allowing you to fully enjoy the mirror effect without worry. As you soak in the beauty of the night sky, sip on hot coffee to stay warm and savour the peaceful magic of the salt flats. Before returning to Uyuni around 8:30 PM, take advantage of this perfect moment to capture surreal reflections in this dreamlike setting.

Please Note:
Mirror Effect: The mirror effect is most likely to occur during the rainy season, from January to June, when a thin layer of water covers the salt flats. During the dry season (July to December), it is less likely to be seen, as it depends on the amount of rainfall each year. The mirror effect cannot be guaranteed.

Stargazing: Moon phases affect stargazing conditions. During full moon nights and the days around them, moonlight reduces the visibility of stars, especially the Milky Way. For the best experience, we recommend tours during new moon or nights with minimal moonlight.

Weather Conditions: During the rainy season, weather conditions in the Uyuni Salt Flats can change quickly. The tour may start with rain and then clear up, or rain may occur during the experience. Cloudy skies can reduce star visibility, so stargazing conditions cannot always be guaranteed.
