Enjoy this 3-hour-long walking tour across the charming streets of Valencia! You will visit some of the most beloved tapas bars in town and discover Valencia's gastronomic tradition from a local perspective.
Here's a list of the possible tastings, that may vary according to the season and the availability of our partners:
- Patatas bravas or tortilla de patatas: Patatas bravas are Spain’s ultimate comfort food, while tortilla is an international top seller thanks to its adaptability as a dish or starter
- Anchovies: the fish food is a must in a city facing the sea. You will taste some delicious anchovies, the ideal tapas for every taste
- Croquetas: crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, the classic croquetas are made with a mixture of béchamel and cubes of cured ham.
- Typical ham and cheese at the Historic market of Valencia. You’ll taste typical products from the market, which contains fresh produce from the garden and the flavours and smells of the Mediterranean inside (lunch only).
- Clóchinas: the small, thin Valencian sisters of mussels, is the most beloved shellfish in the Valencian Community. Try them at a historic Valencian bar famous for its long tradition of clóchinas and fish.
- Esgarraet: is another typical dish of the Valencian Community. It consists of a special salad made with roasted red bell pepper, salted cod, garlic, and extra virgin olive oil.
- Agua de Valencia: the city's own cocktail and the most famous. It has obtained the Designation of Origin Certification and ,because of its freshness and organoleptic qualities, can be enjoyed throughout the day as well as in the light of the moon as a night drink (dinner only).
- Horchata and fartons (lunch only): Horchata is made with water, sugar and wet or ground tigernuts, while fartones, its perfect accompaniment, are an elongated, soft and spongy sweet that is dipped in the horchata. An authentic refreshing drink typical in the Valencian Community and especially in Alboraya. It is common to find horchaterias all around Valencia. We'll visit one of the most ancient ones to enjoy the best horchata and fartons!
