Come and immerse yourself in the world of Cézanne, drawing and painting in the heart of nature, departing from the Carrières de Bibémus.
Set off on a walk with Elodie, a guide who specialises in the painter Paul Cézanne.
She will offer you an interpretation of the master's works on location, discussing his background and his artistic choices.
Your guide will accompany you through the Aix-en-Provence countryside, in the heart of the landscapes that so greatly inspired the father of modern art. It was at the foot of Mount Sainte-Victoire that he came to set up his easel more than a century ago.
Next, we will position you in front of the subject, and our collaborating artist-painter and visual arts teacher will introduce you to painting from life. The artist will tailor her instruction to suit all levels and all audiences. Children are welcome on the tour. All equipment is provided.
On each outing, you will have the opportunity to try your hand at a different technique—charcoal, dry pastels, oil pastels, or painting—at various locations on the Bibemus Plateau.
Come and enjoy a sensory experience through artistic expression in the heart of nature, and leave with your own creation.
