Know before you book
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap

- Cruise Ship Information: Cruise ship guests must provide the full name of their cruise ship when booking. This information is required to coordinate both excursions with your cruise itinerary.
- Two-Port Experience: This 2-in-1 experience includes one excursion in Cozumel and one in Costa Maya. The order depends on your cruise itinerary, so Cozumel may come before or after Costa Maya.
- Port Time Required: Your cruise ship must remain in port for at least 8 hours in both Cozumel and Costa Maya to participate in the complete 2-in-1 experience.
- Costa Maya Departure: Your Costa Maya tour departs one hour after your cruise arrives in port from Plaza Las Fuentes, located just outside the main access to Costa Maya Port.
- Costa Maya Meeting Point: Please note that the total walking time from your cruise ship to the meeting point is approximately 15 minutes.
- Cozumel Departure: Jeep and Buggy tours depart at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Your departure will be coordinated according to your cruise schedule and selected tour option.
- Meeting Points: Both meeting points are located outside the cruise terminals. Complete directions and meeting instructions are provided with your booking.
- No Port, No Pay: If your cruise ship does not call at either scheduled port, the corresponding excursion is eligible for a full refund.
- Weather & Water Activities: Tours operate rain or shine. Please check the forecast and dress appropriately for the day’s weather. Snorkelling, kayaking and other water activities may be modified or restricted due to wind, lightning or other unsafe weather conditions.
- Cozumel Tour Options: Entrance to Punta Sur or San Gervasio Mayan Ruins is included only when the corresponding option is selected at booking. Guests on the standard Jeep or Buggy tour enjoy additional beach time instead.
- Vehicles: Jeeps and buggies are shared vehicles for up to 4 participants. Buggies have manual transmission only, and driving experience is recommended.
- Drivers: A valid driving licence is required to operate a Jeep or buggy. Drivers must be at least 21 years old.
- Snorkelling: Minimum snorkelling age is 8 years old. Participants must be comfortable swimming in open water and able to enter and exit the water independently.
- What to Bring: Bring comfortable walking shoes, swimming costume, towel, change of clothes, hat and sun cream. We also recommend bringing some cash for souvenirs, personal purchases and additional food or drinks.
- Chacchoben Cameras & Tripods: A fee of approximately $5 USD applies to dedicated video cameras and is paid directly at Chacchoben. Tripods are not permitted inside the archaeological site.
- Wildlife & Marine Life: Wildlife and marine life are observed in their natural environments, so sightings of monkeys, tropical birds, fish and other species cannot be guaranteed.
- Alcohol: Included alcoholic drinks are served only to guests 21 years of age or older. Please drink responsibly and in moderation. Additional alcoholic drinks and premium drinks are not included.
- Late Arrivals / No-Shows: Guests who arrive late or fail to show up for either scheduled activity are not eligible for a refund for the missed activity.
- Snorkelling is not recommended for guests with asthma, epilepsy, recent surgeries, or similar medical conditions.

- Pregnant guests or those with back/neck injuries, heart conditions, or mobility limitations should not participate.
- Maximum weight limit per participant is 250 pounds.
- Bacalar Kayaks: Maximum weight is 220 lbs for a single kayak and 270 lbs for a double kayak.
