Start your 2-hour mosaic workshop in Amsterdam with a short introduction to the materials and techniques. Your instructor will explain how to work with tiles, glass, and ceramics and show you the basic tools used during the workshop.
After this introduction, you begin designing your own mosaic artwork. You can choose to decorate an object such as a tray, cheese board, mirror, or bring a small item from home to personalise. You will work with colourful tiles, broken ceramics, and glass to create your own unique composition.
You cut or break the materials and arrange them into your own design. This is a hands-on creative process where you explore colour, shape, and pattern while building your artwork step by step at your own pace.
A professional instructor is present throughout the workshop to support you whenever needed. You receive help with technique, composition, and materials while still having full freedom in your creative process.
Once your design is complete, the piece is finished with grout, giving it its final texture and look.
At the end of the workshop, you will take home your finished mosaic artwork.
