We will start this tour at our meeting point. Once all passengers are in the vehicle, we will head towards the Yanahuara Viewpoint to take photos. We will then continue on the Sillar Route, leaving the city and heading towards the Añashuayco Quarry. Here, our guide will provide us with a series of explanations about the process of extracting ashlar, the stone used to build most of the structures around Plaza de Armas in Arequipa.

We will also learn about the hewing, carving, and mega-carving techniques used by master stonemasons.
Next, we will head to the Quebrada de Culebrillas, a quarry that is no longer in operation but which we will be able to explore for 20 minutes, traversing a small canyon formed by water erosion.

At the end of the tour, we will see some petroglyphs, which we can admire and photograph while our guide provides us with some explanations. We will then return to Arequipa for the end of the tour.
