Begin with a scenic cruise past Budapest’s riverside landmarks, including the Hungarian Parliament Building, Buda Castle, Gellért Hill, and the city’s famous bridges. During the sightseeing portion, listen to timed recorded English commentary accompanied by a feel-good international music selection.
After sightseeing, the vessel proceeds to its assigned anchored position on the river in accordance with the instructions of the relevant authorities. A specially curated festive music mix sets the atmosphere as you watch the national fireworks from the boat’s open-air areas or panoramic indoor lounge. The exact position, orientation, and view depend on official river-traffic arrangements and the assigned vessel.
Unlimited drinks are included throughout the entire 4-hour programme. Whenever you are ready for another drink, keep your glass and bring it to the onboard bar area. Request a refill of classic dry sparkling wine, with an additional rosé or semi-sweet option subject to availability, or ask for a cold beer.
Four signature Spritzers are prepared in advance for fast bar service: Aperol Spritzer made with original Aperol, Hugo Spritzer with elderflower flavour, Rossini Spritzer with strawberry flavour, and Limoncello Spritzer prepared without sparkling wine. These are light, refreshing long drinks rather than individually mixed cocktails. Homemade lemonade, lemon-mint water, and still water are available from the self-service stations.
Choose between two culinary experiences when booking. Each option has its own designated departure dock, food inclusion, vessel facilities, and accessibility conditions, so check the selected option and final voucher carefully.
The Unlimited Drinks and Popcorn option departs at 6:15 PM or 6:30 PM from Carl Lutz Rakpart Dock 0 and includes unlimited freshly made popcorn. Its panoramic indoor lounge is naturally ventilated through large openable windows. This option is not wheelchair accessible and requires the use of stairs.
The Premium Grazing Buffet option departs at 6:30 PM from Akadémia 3 Dock aboard the Roude Léiw. The buffet includes mini burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads, skewers, charcuterie and cheese selections, and desserts. Its panoramic indoor lounge is fully air-conditioned. The dock and main level are wheelchair accessible by ramp, but the main open-air viewing deck is accessible only by stairs.
Due to major road closures, river restrictions, and large crowds on August 20, arrive at the exact dock shown on your final voucher at least 30 minutes before departure. The vessels must leave on time to reach their assigned positions before the river closure and cannot wait for late arrivals.
