What you can expect

We'll drive from Nairobi through the floor of the Great Rift Valley, stopping to shop for antiques and admire the stunning views of the cliffs along the way. We arrived at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for our morning game drive. Lake Nakuru gives you the opportunity to observe the world-famous flamingos and spot other wildlife such as buffalo, rhinos, giraffes and baboons. Lake Nakuru is also a world-famous black rhino and white rhino sanctuary. In addition, more than 400 species of birds can be seen in the park. Between the lake and the cliffs to the west, dense woodland is home to giant pythons, which can often be seen crossing the road or hanging from trees. Had lunch at a hut in the park and then found our way out of the park; we did another game drive and then hit the road to Nairobi.
