An experience designed to explore the estancia’s historic trails accompanied by local horsemen. For approximately one and a half hours, the horseback ride takes you through forests, meadows, and areas offering excellent views of the Andes, allowing you to experience the surroundings in an authentic and relaxed way.

At the end of the ride, the experience continues with a traditional Patagonian lunch at El Establo Restaurant.

It is an excellent alternative for those who want to enjoy a different hiking experience away from the traditional trails of El Chaltén, accompanied by specialised guides.

At the end of the hike, the experience is completed with lunch at El Establo Restaurant, followed by the transfer to Chorrillo del Salto.

What you can expect

  • This proposal offers a Premium version of the Full-Day El Chaltén tour, combining the traditional journey to the National Trekking Capital with an exclusive experience at Estancia.

    Passengers can choose the experience that best suits their interests, whether a gastronomic experience, a low-intensity activity such as horseback riding, or an adventure activity such as trekking

    After travelling along National Route 40, stopping at the historic La Leona Roadhouse and the panoramic viewpoint at the entrance to El Chaltén, the vehicle continues to the Interpretation Centre, where passengers taking the classic tour option will get off and continue to the Condors Viewpoint.

    The driver then transfers the passengers to the estancia meeting point, where the estancia team takes over the operation and conducts the activity selected at the time of booking.

    The available options are:

    • Patagonian Lunch + Horseback Riding
    • Patagonian Lunch + Trekking

    All options include lunch at El Establo Restaurant, offering privileged views of Mount Fitz Roy.

    At the end of the experience, the estancia team transfers the passengers back to the vehicle meeting point, where they continue the itinerary and begin the return journey to El Calafate.
