Kompong Phluk is a traditional stilted and floating village on the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. Built on wooden stilts 6–10 metres high, these homes stand above floodwaters during the rainy season and rise like towers during the dry months. The village offers an extraordinary look at Cambodia’s water-based lifestyle.
