What you can expect

Day 1
This is a self guided tour, but you will have three stations where you will meet the people that will help you. (Transport, Whalewatching and Food).
You will Arrive in Buenaventura and check in your hotel for your overnight stay. Enjoy your evening in the town, and sample local cuisine as you stroll along the boulevard.
Day 2
After breakfast at your hotel, head to the pier office to collect your boat tickets (8 am). Between 9:00 AM and 10 AM your boat will depart to Juanchaco, an authentic fishing village on the Colombian Pacific coast. Arrive at Juanchaco pier where you will meet your host who will escort you to the whale watching tour.
Next, explore the beach and the town of Juanchaco. Enjoy lunch at a traditional local restaurant. Later in the afternoon the boat will be waiting for you to return to Buenaventura. Be at the Juanchaco pier at 3:30 pm.
