What you can expect

Asturias is the region that has it all. Discover why they say that paradise is in Asturias on a full-day excursion that will take you through its blue lakes, green hills, and spectacular coastline. Marvel at the mountains of Covadonga and discover the secrets they hold.

The excursion starts from Santander and will take you through many treasures of Cantabria and Asturias until you reach Llanes.

Take in the views from the coach and learn about the history of this region as you drive to the Picos de Europa National Park in Covadonga and climb to the Mirador de Entrelagos ā€“ the vantage point between two lakes ā€“ where you'll look down on Ercina and Enol.

After visiting the Lakes of Covadonga, head down to the Royal Site of Covadonga, home to the Virgin of Covadonga. Popularly known as La Santina, this site features a majestic basilica built with stones from the surrounding mountains.

Our next stop is Cangas de OnĆ­s. Formerly the capital of the Kingdom of Asturias, this small town is home to a charming bridge with an incredible history. Learn all about this place from your tour guide, and don't leave without a photo of the famous Cruz de la Victoria.

After the guided visit and free time for lunch, we'll begin our return journey. Relax on the coach as you bid farewell to the Asturias region.
