What you can expect
The Journey
La Fontaine's office
You'll step into Jean de La Fontaine's office, a real blast back to the 17th century. The poet sets the stage for the immersive exhibition, as well as the legacy of his 243 Fables.
Fox Room
In a 17th-century French garden, under a tree, you'll discover a staging of the “Crow and the Fox,” with the evocation of courtiers and flattery. On the outskirts, you'll discover the Fox's den and the life of Jean de La Fontaine.
Wolf Room
On a full moon evening, at the edge of a forest, “The Wolf and the Dog” meet, caught between independence and the search for comfort, a suggestive evocation of Jean de La Fontaine's life. A photo booth, skill games, rich mediation, and collectibles complete the room.
Frog Room
Under the watchful eye of Jean de La Fontaine, this thematic universe invites you to dive into a pond filled with water lilies, in the setting of the vain frog “Who wanted to be as big as the ox.” This room also explores the famous Fable “The Frogs Who Ask for a King,” and promises the visitor to stage themselves in full size. A jukebox of fables with music enhances the visit.
The Lion's Room
This part of the journey explores the Fable
“The Animals Sick with the Plague.” This time, the animals meet in a video conference and look for a scapegoat to atone for their misfortunes. A fresco of drawings made by visitors and animated in AI and skill games complete the room.
Dream Room
The Hall of Dreams is the grand finale of the journey. A dazzling 25-minute show with 360-degree video projections envelops visitors in a timeless experience.
