What you can expect

  • Begin your journey with a pickup from Ise Station or your accommodation in the Toba, Ise, and Shima areas. Head to Ise Jingu, considered the most sacred site in Shinto and a place of deep spiritual significance in Japan.

Explore the Inner Shrine (Naiku) and immerse yourself in the rich, unhurried rhythm of time that defines this sacred ground. Learn about proper worship etiquette and purification rituals, and hear behind-the-scenes stories and fascinating insights you won’t find in any guidebook.

Discover the connections between Ise Jingu and the wider Ise-Shima region, and gain a deeper understanding of the authentic charm that makes this area so remarkable.

If you wish, you can also choose an optional Extra Tour to include a visit to the Outer Shrine (Geku), with complimentary car transport provided. Please note that if you select this extra tour option, the itinerary will follow the order of Geku → Naiku.

After your tour, the experience will conclude at Ise Jingu (Inner Shrine / Naiku). If you would like to be dropped off at your hotel, please inform us in advance.
