2-Day Mikumi National Park Safari (From Morogoro)

Day 1: Morogoro – Mikumi National Park

After breakfast in Morogoro, drive to Mikumi National Park (about 1.5–2 hours). Enter the park for a mid-morning game drive through the Mkata floodplains, home to elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and lions. Break for lunch at a lodge inside the park, then continue with an afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp near the park.

Day 2: Mikumi – Morogoro

Start the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to spot predators and other active wildlife. Explore hippo pools, open savannahs, and acacia woodlands filled with birdlife. After a late breakfast or brunch, enjoy one last short game drive before exiting the park. Drive back to Morogoro, arriving in the afternoon.
