We pick you up at your accommodation (please check our pickup area before booking) and begin the journey to Pico dos Barcelos, one of Funchal’s most iconic viewpoints. Enjoy 360° views over the city, harbour, and surrounding mountains.

Next, we ascend to Eira do Serrado (1,094 m). A short, easy walk leads to a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the dramatic Nuns Valley. You may also visit the small souvenir shop before we continue.

We then drive down into the valley towards Vereda do Urzal, where you can admire Pico do Gato from below and see the traditional agricultural terraces still used by locals. In the village centre, we stop for about an hour so you can explore, taste chestnut pastries, breads, and local liqueurs, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this unique mountain community.

On the return to Funchal, we pass through the area where Cristiano Ronaldo was born, adding a touch of local history to your experience.

We finish by dropping you off at your hotel or anywhere in Funchal city centre.
