You're an aspiring pianist with nothing to lose and everything to gain: a relative's letter has led you to Salzburg, and the promise of a lost Mozart opera that could win you a place at Juilliard. But finding it means talking to the dead.

This self-guided mystery quest takes you on an 85-minute walk through the heart of Mozart's city. Using the Questo app on your smartphone, you follow Anne's search at 10 stops, guided by the ghosts of Mozart, his wife Constanze, and his famous rival Salieri.

From Getreidegasse and Mozartplatz to the Love Lock Bridge and the heights of Kapuzinerberg, piece together clues hidden across the city to uncover the title of a masterpiece that was never performed.

Mozart’s Residence was reconstructed after being partly destroyed during World War II and was re-opened to the public in 1996. The biographies of the family members and the authentic impressions of everyday family life fill the house with their spirit to this day and allow visitors to experience Mozart anew. Mozartsteg
