Overview

Experience the day like a local and go for an e-bike ride along the Douro river until you reach the ocean. From there follow towards north while feeling the cool Atlantic Ocean breeze to the neighbouring coastal city of Matosinhos.

Throughout the way, your guide will explain facts and figures about Porto and Matosinhos, talking about these cities’ lifestyles, trends, and traditions. Lunch is served at one of the typical fish restaurants in Matosinhos, where only the freshest fish is provided!

On your way back to Porto take a detour to appreciate the city's park. It is one of Porto’s gems and one of the only city parks in the world that has a direct connection to the ocean.

All in all, this is a very comfortable and scenic ride and most of the path is done through cycling lanes with some small connections by road.

Depending on your level of fitness we can adapt the length of the ride to make it as pleasant and enjoyable as possible!

Our Bike experience will start at the Porto riverfront, known as Ribeira, a picturesque and vibrant area alond the Douro River. It is characterised by colourful historic buildings, cobblestone streets, and a lively atmosphere with cafes, restaurants, and bars offering stunning river views. Ribeira is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a hub for locals and tourists, featuring charming alleys, traditional boats (rabelos), and iconic landmarks like the Dom Luís I Bridge.
Farolim da Cantareira (Pass by)
A short stop at Foz area. Foz do Douro is a sophisticated and scenic area in Porto where the Douro River meets the Atlantic Ocean. Known for its upscale charm, it features beautiful beaches, a seaside promenade, and a mix of modern and historic architecture. Foz offers trendy cafes, fine dining, and boutique shops, all set against the backdrop of ocean views and lush gardens like the Jardim do Passeio Alegre. It's a serene escape from the city's bustle, popular for leisurely strolls and enjoying the coastal vibe.
