From here we will make our way through the lush green forest to the majestic Skjennungstoppen mountain. The trail offers a perfect balance of challenging terrain and peaceful, serene pathways, as you hike through the stunning Norwegian wilderness. When we reach the summit, the reward is worth every step – panoramic views that will take your breath away. In this part of the forest we might catch a glimpse of fox, beaver, moose, deer, eagle, hare and many other animals. They are all harmless and can be elusive, but keep your eyes peeled and you may be lucky! Along the way, we will stop at two "hytte" (traditional Norwegian cabins). First, we’ll visit Skjennungenstua, followed by Ullevålseter. They serve great coffee and fresh pastries, such as freshly made waffles, served with jam and sour cream or Norway´s famous brown cheese. We’ll also make a stop at the geographical centre of Oslo, hidden right in the heart of the forest.

Our hike will end at the picturesque Sognsvann Lake, where we’ll take the metro back to the city centre. Please keep in mind that this hiking tour is quite challenging.
