We will meet in my cosy restaurant, where we will have the opportunity to get to know each other and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
Then we'll move into the kitchen, where I'll explain how to prepare the ingredients for making arancini, using both meat and vegetables (vegetarian and vegan options). I will show you the Sicilian tricks for making perfect arancini, both round (as we make them in Palermo) and pointed (as they are made in Catania and Syracuse). We'll fry them together, and I'll give you all the information you need to achieve a perfect golden crust. Now comes the best part of the experience: enjoying the arancini you prepared with me. I will also let you sample typical Sicilian starters, such as my caponata, prepared according to a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation. You'll also have the opportunity to enjoy a glass of Sicilian wine, and fresh water will be provided throughout the cooking class. The experience ends at my restaurant, the same place where it began.
