Know before you book

  • We depart from Exmouth only, not Coral Bay which is located 155km (96 miles) South of Exmouth.
  • We cannot guarantee interactions with any specific animal. We appreciate your understanding as we are dealing with Mother Nature
  • Tours are subject to minimum numbers and are weather dependant.
  • You don't need to be a strong swimmer to participate in this tour, although participation in a Humpback Whale in water encounter will require open water confidence and a degree of physicality. If you aren't a confident swimmer we recommend you let us know at time of booking.
  • You must contact Kings Ningaloo Reef Tours at least 24 hours before your travel date to book your hotel pick up.

What you can expect

From the 1st August - September we offer our Whale shark and Humpback Whale Eco Tours. Following the same structure as our Whale shark tours we offer 1-2 snorkels on the Ningaloo Reef and free upgrades to swim with Whale sharks and Manta Rays if found. Please note that unlike earlier in the season we cannot guarantee interactions with these animals. During these tours we are able to offer the possibility of entering the water with Humpback Whales if conditions are safe to do so. These tours are still full day tours and we still utilise a spotter plane to search for Whale sharks and other marine life.
