Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Nungwi, Kendwa, Stone Town, or Paje. Travel in a private car or shared minivan to Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, a journey that takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your location.

Upon arrival, embark on a guided tour of Jozani Forest with a local ranger. Spot rare red colobus monkeys, found only in Zanzibar, and walk through the lush tropical forest. Visit the mangrove boardwalk and see butterflies, bush babies, and unique flora.

Next, transfer to Salaam Cave (Kuza Cave) for a 1.5- to 2-hour experience. Swim in the crystal-clear natural cave pool, feed and interact with turtles (depending on site rules), and admire the beautiful limestone cave formations. Relax in the peaceful jungle setting.
