After lunch, the tour continues to the Citadel of Cairo to marvel at a fascinating Islamic fortification that was constructed during the medieval era. The invincible stone structure, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers panoramic views across the city. Here, you can find an array of museums, old mosques and other ancient buildings within the fort. From the fort, proceed to Old Cairo and explore the ancient edifices of the city such as Coptic Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of Abu Serga, and the Hanging Church.

Finally, visit the breathtaking Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East. Wander through the many serpentine alleyways of the bazaar and soak up the authentic atmosphere and culture of this vibrant location. Shop for some well-crafted jewellery, decorations, and handicrafts as a memento of your trip before being transferred back to your accommodation.
