- Discovering Saffron

Time: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM (approx.) - 4 hours
The experience:
10:30 am – Morning welcome: Arrival and welcome coffee/herbal tea to awaken your senses.
11:00 am – Visit to the Zafferaneto: Guests join us to visit the saffron fields.
12:00 pm – History of Saffron and its use in cooking: In our workshop, guests will learn about the thousand-year history of this precious spice, its cultivation using the biodynamic method, and its use in cooking.
12:45 pm – Tuscan brunch: A rich tasting/light lunch based on our products: bruschetta with “New Oil”, pecorino cheese with saffron honey, and a hot seasonal dish (for example, risotto or saffron soup). Water, Chianti wine.
