During the experience you will visit several carefully selected local venues where residents often gather to eat and drink. Along the way, your guide introduces the history of the city and explains how different periods shaped the cuisine of the Alentejo region.

At each stop you will taste a selection of regional specialities paired with local drinks. The tour includes a mix of traditional taverns, small producers, and family-run establishments that represent the everyday food culture of Évora.

You will experience typical ingredients and flavours of the region, including local wines, traditional petiscos, and dishes connected to rural Alentejo cooking.

The experience ends in a traditional tavern with a final tasting and a classic Portuguese conventual dessert, part of a sweet tradition created centuries ago in monasteries.
