Tuesdays and Saturdays: Sanremo
Once you have finished shopping, continue your tour to admire the eclectic examples of architecture that the city offers, such as the Russian Orthodox Church or the Villa Nobel. You might be able to enjoy a cappuccino or a delicious ice cream near the Basilica Cathedral of Saint Siro for a taste of the Dolce Vita!
The return trip along the coast from San Remo allows us to choose a restaurant in the picturesque town of Ospedaletti for a well-deserved lunch break. Nature lovers can also enjoy a stroll to work off the calories in the exotic gardens of Pallanca.

On Thursday: Bordighera
Once off the highway (after only 40 minutes from Nice), we head towards the hills to discover the mysterious Principality of Seborga…
From Seborga, we head down to the coast to savour the flavours of Liguria at the Bordighera market. Once our appetite is satisfied, we can either stay on the seafront promenade or go to the historic old town for lunch.

Friday: Ventimiglia
It is considered the largest market in Italy and is a tradition and an institution for Italians and French people living on the Côte d'Azur. Ventimiglia is also a popular town for buying jewellery.
A few kilometres separate Ventimiglia from the medieval village of Dolceacqua, dominated by the Doria Castle… The ideal setting for a delicious meal at a family-run restaurant.

Upon our return from the Riviera dei Fiori, we can only succumb to the authentic charm of the French Riviera in Menton. The seaside resort is ideally located between the Principality of Monaco and Italy, where the Alps plunge into the shores of the Mediterranean. Thanks to a microclimate that leans towards the subtropics, Menton is a paradise for gardeners – some of its gardens have even been classified as “historic monuments” – and an unparalleled showcase for the architecture that has shaped this secret of the Riviera.
