There’s nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked bread coming out of the oven. During this hands-on baking class in Paris, join our expert baker chef and learn how to make your own artisan breads from scratch in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
After a welcome coffee or tea, step into the kitchen to discover the essentials of French breadmaking: working with fermented dough, shaping breads by hand and mastering baking techniques for a crisp golden crust. Depending on the session, you may prepare classic breads such as white bread, whole wheat bread or rye bread with walnuts, or discover sandwich breads like bagels, burger buns and Japanese milk bread (“shokupan”).
While the dough rises, you’ll also prepare a delicious olive focaccia to enjoy together with a glass of wine.
