The view doesn’t come easily, though—reaching the giant cross at the summit requires climbing 721 steps. In the piercing sun of Coron, this challenge leaves many drenched in sweat & gasping for breath upon reaching the top. Learn about the fascinating historical lore of Mt. Tapyas, tied to WWII, although the storey remains anecdotal & unverified.

    End the tour with a relaxing dip in Maquinit Hot Spring (bring swimwear & a towel if you’d like to try it!).
