What you can expect

Explore the wonders of Scottish nature, culture, and history on a full-day tour from Edinburgh with a Spanish-speaking guide. Venture into the Hermitage Forest, meet the adorable Highland Hairy Coos, visit Queen Victoria’s favourite spot, discover whisky culture in its distilleries, enjoy local cuisine by Loch Tay, and end the afternoon learning about the history of William Wallace and Scotland during our visit to Stirling. Before heading back, we’ll take you to see the Kelpies!.

After meeting in Edinburgh, we head to the Hermitage Forest to walk along the River Braan. At the end of the trail, an impressive waterfall awaits us.

After a pleasant walk, we make a stop in the small village of Dunkeld, one of the most beautiful villages in the Highlands. There, you will have time to enjoy a coffee, take a stroll, and visit its ruined cathedral.

After the stop, we continue to Pitlochry, where we will learn more about Highland culture at one of its whisky distilleries, considered one of the most beautiful distilleries in the country. We will take a guided tour and have the opportunity to taste Scottish malt whisky (non official distillery tour).

We then cross the charming town of Pitlochry to visit Queen Victoria’s favourite spot. In the heart of Tay Forest Park lies a viewpoint overlooking Loch Tummel, one of the most beautiful places in the Highlands.

Next, we travel to the shores of Loch Tay to enjoy local cuisine at a lakeside restaurant (lunch is optional).

After lunch, we will head for a coffee by Loch Lubnaig and meet the famous Hairy Coos!

In the afternoon, we head to Stirling, the most important city in Scottish history. There, beside the William Wallace Monument Tower, we will learn about the storey of Scotland’s national hero during the Wars of Independence between the Scots and the English.

From Abbey Craig Hill, we can admire Stirling Castle alongside the battlefield where the Scots defeated the English. Before leaving Stirling, we will head into the historic town centre, parking beside Stirling Castle so you can stroll through the old town and discover its most iconic landmarks. Free time included.

Finally, before returning to Edinburgh, we will make one last stop at the Kelpies, impressive 30-meter-high horse-shaped sculptures representing mythical creatures from Scottish folklore.

We then return to Edinburgh, where the tour concludes at the original meeting point.
