What you can expect

  • Venture to the paradisiacal beach of Praia do Forte and see the clear waters, white sands, and tropical climate that helped earn its reputation as the Brazilian Polynesia. Learn about Projeto TAMAR, the ambitious sea turtle conservation effort, and relax under the palms of Guarajuba Beach.

Located 44 miles (70 km) north of Salvador, Praia do Forte is famous for its pristine scenery. Lie back on the beach for some relaxation in the sun or take advantage of a wide range of leisure activities along the water.

Visit the installations of the noble Projeto TAMAR, a programme dedicated to the conservation of sea turtles along Brazil's coast. Next, stop at a small fishing village before sinking your toes in the sand of Guarajuba Beach, a sea-bathing destination famous for its warm waters.
