Meet Bruges from a different angle: on two wheels.
There’s a reason cycling is one of the best ways to experience Bruges. You can cover more ground than on foot, slip down quiet streets, leave the busiest squares behind and see how the city changes as you ride.
On this relaxed 2.5-hour bike tour, a local guide takes you through the heart of Bruges, combining famous landmarks with quieter corners and places you might otherwise miss.
But this isn’t a tour where everyone follows the exact same script.
There is no fixed route.
Every Quasimundo guide has their own favourite places, stories and way of showing you Bruges. Your guide might point out an overlooked detail on a medieval building, take you down a street you would never have chosen yourself, or share a storey that makes a familiar landmark suddenly look different.
Along the way, expect a mix of Bruges’ must-see sights, local history, personal stories and the little details that bring the city to life.
You’ll see famous parts of the city such as the Market Square, the Belfry, canals and medieval architecture, while also getting a feel for Bruges beyond the postcard view.
We’ve been showing people Bruges by bike since 2002. More than 20 years later, our approach is still simple: put people on bikes, give them a great local guide, and show them the city we know and love. Whether it’s your first few hours in Bruges or you’ve already explored the historic centre, this is a chance to see more, learn more and experience the city at a relaxed pace.
Come for the bike ride. Leave knowing Bruges a little better.
