We will begin this journey through the history of Mérida and its most iconic flavours with pick-up at your accommodation. During our tour, we will visit the city’s most emblematic places, including its alleys, corners, areas, markets, churches, mansions, theatres, and buildings that have played and continue to play an important role in the lives of Yucatecan people.

As we move along this route, which has been designed for this experience, we will share the city’s history from pre-Hispanic times. Alongside interesting facts, famous characters, anecdotes, and legends, we will make gastronomic stops so you can taste many of the local snacks known as “Antojitos” in this region of the country.

From a Cochinita Pibil Taco, a Chaya and Pineapple Fresh Water, a traditional sorbet, and even a local beer in a traditional cantina, you will discover the origins of each dish and its diverse flavours.
