What you can expect

Meet your guide and first discover the famous Tsukiji Fish Market. See local traders and chefs shopping for a vast array of freshly caught seafood. Rub shoulders with the locals as you learn about the importance of seafood in Japanese cuisine with your guide.

For lunch, you have the option of purchasing some delicious sushi at a restaurant beloved by locals with your guide. Or, you can take some more time to explore the market on your own and reconvene with the group afterwards.

Continue to the Akihabara district and discover its importance as “Electric Town”, a centre of pop and gaming culture. Explore a variety of shops selling retro video games, trading cards, collectibles, manga, and anime.
