Discover a side of Florence that most visitors never see: its green hills, the most stunning viewpoints and the timeless atmosphere of the countryside surrounding the city, all in the comfort of a private electric golf cart.

This relaxing sightseeing tour takes you away from the busiest areas of the historic old town, driving through the hills that offer some of the most beautiful views of Florence. From Porta Romana, you will ascend to Poggio Imperiale and Bellosguardo.

The tour then continues through the elegant hills of Arcetri and Pian dei Giullari, an area beloved for centuries by artists, poets and scholars such as Galileo Galilei. Amid cypress trees, historic villas and olive groves, you can enjoy a slower, more authentic pace, listening to local stories, fun facts and anecdotes along the way. The route passes by Villa Il Gioiello, also known as Villa Galileo, and the Torre del Gallo, before reaching the area of Piazzale Michelangelo.

Due to local regulations governing access to the UNESCO historic area, golf carts cannot enter certain restricted zones directly, including Michelangelo Square and San Miniato al Monte. For this reason, the golf cart stops nearby, in the area of Piazzale Michelangelo, for example at the Piccolo Belvedere, a quiet and charming vantage point with a stunning view of Florence.

From there, guests continue on foot for a short scenic stretch of about 100 metres to reach Piazzale Michelangelo and admire one of the most iconic views of the city, with the dome of the Cathedral, Palazzo Vecchio, the Arno River and the historic rooftops of Florence.

The walk continues towards the area of San Miniato al Monte, one of the most fascinating and spiritual parts of the city. The Basilica of San Miniato, with its Romanesque façade, quiet atmosphere and elevated position, is one of the most evocative places for photographs and moments of contemplation.

The drop-off follows the scenic route to the Bobolino Garden, the area of the Boboli Stables and Porta Romana. The stops at the villas do not include visits inside.

The duration is 90 minutes; if you choose to depart from Piazza della Libertà, it is 105 minutes, including an additional 15 minutes of transport along the boulevards.
