Hakone Shrine (60 minutes)
Stroll through the iconic red torii gates and visit the historic Hakone Shrine. Enjoy its peaceful atmosphere and pray for safety, good relationships, and good fortune.
Hakone Pirate Ship (30 minutes)
Cruise across Lake Ashi aboard the iconic Hakone Pirate Ship and admire the surrounding mountains and lakeside scenery. On clear days, you may also catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji.
Hakone Ropeway (One-way, 30 minutes)
Take the ropeway to Owakudani and enjoy views of Lake Ashi and the surrounding mountains while taking in the dramatic volcanic scenery.
Owakudani (40 minutes)
See sulphur steam rising from the unique volcanic landscape and try the famous black eggs, which are said to add seven years to your life according to local legend.
Yamanakako Swan Beach (20 minutes)
Take a relaxing walk along the lakeside, interact with the elegant swans, take photos, and enjoy the refreshing scenery of Lake Yamanaka.
Oshino Hakkai (40 minutes)
Admire the crystal-clear spring ponds and beautiful scenery of Oshino Hakkai. On clear days, you may see Mount Fuji reflected in the water and try the local speciality spring-water tofu ice cream.
Tips
Owakudani can be cool even in summer, so bringing a light jacket is recommended. Visibility in the Mount Fuji area is highly weather-dependent, and views of Mount Fuji cannot be guaranteed.
