What you can expect

  • Start your day early as our experienced guide and driver meet you to explore the magical golden Temple of Angkor Wat. Watch the sunrise until 7:30 AM and learn from your guide about Khmer sculptures, statues, and the fascinating history of Angkor Wat and the surrounding Angkor Archaeological Park.

    Afterwards, enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant near Srah Srang, run by a local family who have lived here all their lives. Learn about their daily life and the changes in the area, and take a short rest. Then visit Srah Srang, built in the mid-10th century, and glance at Banteay Kdei, one of the most beautiful temples in the complex.

    Next, explore the jungle ruins of Ta Prohm Temple, famous from the Tomb Raider films, where banyan trees grow through ancient walls. Continue to Angkor Thom, home to many temples, including the iconic Bayon Temple with its smiling faces. Along the way, you may also spot smaller temples. You will also visit temples beyond the central Bayon Temple, including Baphuon Temple and Phimeanakas Temple.

    On the way back, stop at the South Gate or have your guide drop you in town, where they can help you find a good place for lunch.
