Feel the thrill of canoeing along a stretch of the Adige River!
No experience is required; you will be accompanied throughout the activity by a licensed guide.
Together, we will discover the bucolic landscapes of the Valdadige and the spectacular Ceraino Canyon. You will experience them in a unique way, with the opportunity to steer the kayak yourself.
The meeting point is at the Albino Armani Winery. Here, surrounded by fine vineyards along the river, you will meet your guides who will accompany you throughout the experience.
This will be followed by a briefing where you will be given the equipment and instructed on the paddling motion, the position to maintain while kayaking, and the safety rules to follow during the activity.
Ready, set, go! Let the current of the second longest river in Italy carry you along. Its morphological characteristics make it absolutely calm and suitable for everyone, young and old alike, especially for first-timers.
We will paddle for 9 kilometres along the river, playing at spotting the camouflaged forts perched on the surrounding hills.
There will be dips in the current, water fights, and lots of fun!
We will listen to the historical stories told by the guides about the river and the valley, about the ancient Romans, about Napoleon's exploits, and about the Great War…
After a winding S-shaped bend, the river channels into the Ceraino Lock, a picturesque canyon where the mountains plunge straight into the river. We will be captivated by the beauty of nature and arrive at the disembarkation point happy to have discovered a new sport and a magical, unspoiled area just a few kilometres from Verona.
We'll disembark near Villa del Bene in Volargne. From here, we will take you back to your cars at the starting point.
