What you can expect

  • Meet at 8.30am Bigfin Meet point (google map), Dragon Bay Beach, Kota Belud. We recommend to depart from Kota Kinabalu at 6.45am, (Tuaran/Karambrunei Resorts at 7.30am).
    On arrival, take a short scenic boat ride to Bigfin Beach resort, size up your equipment then head to the tiny uninhabited Pandan Island to discover the marine life of Borneo.

    Spend 1 hour either snorkelling or scuba diving for the first time with our qualified PADI dive instructors. Head to beautiful Bigfin beach and have fun Kayaking and Stand up paddle boarding in the bay. At midday, enjoy a delicious lunch at Bigfin beach resort.

    In the afternoon, and soak up some sun on the secluded beach, take a nap in a hammock and enjoy the stunning natural surroundings. If desired, you are welcome to continue Kayaking or Paddle boarding at your leisure.

    Finally, when you are ready, return to the boat and head back to Dragon Beach, Mengkabar, Kota Belud, where you can arrange onward transport back to your hotel.

    Important note: Transfers to/from Kota Kinabalu NOT included.
    We recommend guests self drive, private taxi or GRAB (taxi e-hailing app).
