Meet your skipper at Frankton Marina and board our comfortable fishing boat, reserved exclusively for your group for six hours on Lake Wakatipu. After a short safety briefing, we’ll head onto the lake and choose where to fish based on the conditions and what you want from the day. With the boat to yourselves, there’s time to explore more of the lake, stay longer in productive areas and adapt the fishing as conditions change. Target rainbow trout, brown trout and salmon using trolling and downrigging, with opportunities to try spinning, jigging or other techniques where suitable. Beginners can be guided through everything, while experienced anglers can take a more hands-on approach. Our fully electric trolling motor means no engine noise while fishing. Enjoy the alpine scenery, locally sourced treats and cold drinks. Bring your own lunch or pre-order a locally prepared lunch. If you keep a legal catch, we can clean and vacuum-pack it for you. Catch-and-release is equally welcome. After six hours, we’ll return to Frankton Marina.
