We begin our adventure from the city of Córdoba, travelling along Provincial Route E-55. Along the way, we discovered La Calera, one of the oldest towns in the province, and admired the imposing Hydroelectric Power Plant. Next, we marvelled at the view of the Paredón del Dique San Roque, a masterpiece of engineering and the oldest reservoir in Córdoba.
We cross Bialet Massé and Santa María de Punilla until we reach Cosquín, the vibrant National Capital of Folklore, where culture and music are experienced in every corner. We continue our journey through the Valle Hermoso until we arrive at La Falda, where we walk along the iconic Edén Avenue, a boulevard full of history and charm, and its attractive shopping centre.
We continue through the picturesque towns of Huerta Grande and Villa Giardino, known for their tranquility and dreamlike landscapes, until we reach Capilla del Monte, where the enigmatic Cerro Uritorco welcomes us, a place full of mysticism and energy. There we explored the unique Calle Techada, the fascinating El Zapato Complex, and the El Cajón Dam, surrounded by imposing mountain landscapes.
Our adventure continues to Los Cocos, where those who wish can ascend the famous Aerosilla (optional) to enjoy impressive panoramic views. Then, we passed through Cruz Grande and Cruz Chica, until we reached La Cumbre, with its elegant European-style mansions that evoke times of splendour and tradition.
We end our trip in the emblematic Villa Carlos Paz, the epicentre of tourism in Córdoba, where the lake, the mountains and the nightlife create a unique atmosphere. After enjoying this vibrant city, we begin our return to Córdoba by highway, carrying in our memory an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Punilla Valley.
