  • Begin your day with a morning hike along the Kalitalang route, which offers impressive views just a few kilometres from the top crater of Mount Merapi. This beginner-friendly trail requires no special skills and takes about an hour to reach the highest viewpoint.

    After your hike, continue to Prambanan, one of the most iconic Hindu temples in the world. Explore the site, home to several temples, including Siva, Brahma, and Visnu, and admire the intricate carvings that depict the Ramayana storey (the Ramayana storey is staged at night by artists at Ramayana Ballet after the temple closes).
