Location location! Located literally up the street from Navy Base. Free Parking 🅿️, yummy free breakfast! We walked to the water every morning so beautiful. Food / shopping and even a little grocery store within a short walk. Specialty coffee machine in lobby too. Beautiful patio area where you can either eat your breakfast inside or outside. Beautiful Succulent plants. Relaxing sauna and pool! Great night sleep ( we stayed 4 nights ).

This was a convenient hotel…walking distance to the hotel del coronado, beaches, shopping, restaurants!! Easy to get to downtown san diego and the zoo. i would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was wonderful! It's older but very clean and pretty. The pool isn't heated so we tried out the spa instead, which was great. I would note that the breakfast is small, my three boys wished there were pancakes or just more choices, but they survived and we sat in the cute courtyard. Overall, it was a great stay!

This is an ok property but it's very overpriced for what it is. The location alone is not worth the price. The room was spacious but the bathroom was tiny. Comically tiny. There was no view, it was a building and the tops of some large outdoor umbrellas. We were on the first floor which was great because I was staying overnight for an outpatient procedure at the hospital, which is very close. However, the people above us were very noisy and seemed to have children running around the room for hours. The complimentary breakfast was well liked by my mother and son.

We were there on spring break and the pool was being refurbished that was disappointing also the heater/air conditioning unit was not operable in the room. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The location is great!

We were staying at the Best Western while visiting my son who is stationed on Coronado. We stayed 6 days. It was perfect for my family which included my two daughters, two son-in-laws and 4 grandchildren 4 and under. The suites were large and comfortable. We liked the Grench doors separating the bedroom from the living room. The complimentary breakfast also was perfect for our group because there were plenty of grab and go options including vegan options which we needed. The location is walkable to food and shops and the Ferry landing if you need it. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the courtyard/patio area with all the tables and chairs to eat outdoors. We were able to park in the basement level garage every day but it is a little tight if you have a large car. The pool unfortunately was being repaired during our stay however it was also a little cool most of the days we were there so we didn’t miss it. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

What I liked on this property was the location in Coranado. What I did not like was the amount of money I paid and being able to hear the people in the room above me walking around every time they were in the room and hearing the people on either side of me through the walls.For the amount of money I paid for a unit, the Privacy and the Quietness was unreasonable.

Hotel is located in a beautiful area within walking distance to the harbor. Various restaurants and shopping available in this area. Have booked this same hotel for last 3 years, and will definately book agan in the future!

Very basic and dated hotel. The sheets were clean so that was a plus and the breakfast had a lot of options but again basic and just okay at best. I just liked that there were two rooms where we stayed for our big family.

This is an older property and it shows. There was a really bad patch job on the ceiling the wallpaper seams were coming undone and the elevator broke down. We couldn’t get our room serviced at all, had to ask for towels at the desk everyday. This was a Best Western minus NOT a plus.

This place is old, not well maintained and the furniture smells like cigarettes even though it’s a non smoking room. Front staff was not friendly or welcoming more the opposite than that. Will not be returning back.

My husband and I loved this hotel for spaciousness; the bedroom is separated from a living room and a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker were big plus because we checked in very late with takeout for dinner. Breakfast exceeded our expectations; a couple of cooked meat with vegetables in addition to scrambled eggs. A variety of juices, yogurt, fruits, and bread. At least three employees were in charge of breakfast area, filling more food and cleaning up tables. They were all friendly, courteous, and hard working. Although overall cleanliness was much better than satisfactory, a faucet in my bedroom kept dripping and wall papers and paint in the bathroom were peeling off, and one of heater was out of service. We were cold at night and did not notice there was another heater in the bedroom until next morning. We checked in very late at night and checked out right after the breakfast. and did not have a chance to complain or explore the area. Our room was 114, our bedroom faced residential properties, just 10 feet away, and did not have views. We may come back for the breakfast but wish they had better maintenance.
