Extremely Disappointed with Motel 6’s, specifically Hotel Motel 6 Irving, TX - DFW Airport North.
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with Hotel Motel 6 Irving, TX - DFW Airport North, handling of a recent reservation. After being stuck on a flight for six hours, I was finally let off the plane only to find out that my flight was canceled. Due to these unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, I could not make it to my booking at Hotel Motel 6 Irving, TX - DFW Airport North.
Despite promptly informing Hotel Motel 6 Irving, TX - DFW Airport North of my situation, they still charged me for the room. I understand that hotels have cancellation policies, but this was an extraordinary situation completely out of my control. A bit of understanding and flexibility from Motel 6 would have gone a long way in this stressful situation.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of compassion and customer service. As someone who frequently travels, I expected more empathy from a well-known establishment like Motel 6. Unfortunately, this experience has left a sour taste, and I will reconsider my accommodation choices in the future.
I urge Motel 6 to reevaluate their policies to accommodate genuine cases like mine. Retaining customer loyalty requires more than just adhering to rigid rules—it requires understanding and flexibility in exceptional circumstances.
