This property is located in the center part of Firenze, within 5-10 minutes walk to most attraction sites you want to visit in town. The room is in good condition and clean. Something I dislike about this place: (1) check in/out location isn’t the same as the BnB, I had a taxi dropped me off outside the BnB but only found out you have to walk to another hotel to check in and come back to the BnB with my suitcase back and forth (this can be tiring and troublesome for some people); (2) the breakfast is not complimentary. Before my arrival, I received a welcome message from the property manager also mentioned the breakfast will be served at the 7th floor of Hotel Signoria (they didn’t mentioned there is a fee for it) and I took that as a complimentary breakfast. I only found out on my check out date that they charged me 15 Europe for the breakfast. With the same price you can have much better breakfast at a decent cafe. I highly suggest you skip their breakfast. It’s overpriced and it didn’t taste that good; (3) this place gets noisy at night. There are people (probably drunken individuals) yelling out or speaking out very loud at night (after 11pm). Also, the trash truck also picking up trash and making super loud noise after midnight. This is not the property’s fault, but if you are a light sleeper, please avoid this property and find another accommodation.

Nel cuore di Firenze
Ottima location in piazza della repubblica nel cuore della città. Le stanze si trovano in un edificio molto tranquillo al secondo piano, hanno un bollitore e un frigo. La dimensione è nella norma. Il ricevimento è stato molto rapido e molto cordiale. Lo consiglio.

Amazing hotel. The check-in process was a bit complicated but the room was wonderful with a spectacular view of the piazza.

Nöjd!!
Incheckningen var lite svårt att förstå sig på då incheckningen är på en annan plats än själva rummet. Väl på rummet så fick vi ett dubbelrum istället för familjerum då vi reste tillsammans med våra 2 barn. Denna missförstånd reddes ut på plats och vi fick både ett bättre pris, senare utcheckning och ett extra rum. Personalen skötte detta väldigt bra och var väldigt trevliga så vi är supernöjda med vistelsen ändå och kommer gärna tillbaka fler gånger. Läget och renligheten på rummet var absolut det bäste med hela vistelsen. Frukosten var också överraskade bra. Toppen betyg från oss.

Repubblica 광장 바로 옆에 있어 피렌체의 주요 관광지로 도보 이동할 수 있어 편리합니다. 객실도 깔끔하고 소형 냉장고 등 필요한 것들이 구비되어 있습니다. 체크인과 조식은 도보로 3분 정도 거리의 Signoria 호텔에서 해야되서 짐을 가지고 이동하기에 약간의 불편함은 있으나 충분히 이동할 만한 거리입니다. 광장 바로 옆에 있어 낮은 시간까지 공연 소리 등 소음은 있으나 창문을 닫아두면 참을만한 수준입니다. ZTL 내에 있지만 호텔에서 처리해 주고, 주차는 Signoria 호텔 앞에 차를 세우고 리셉션에 얘기를 하면 주변의 주차장에 연락해서 차를 픽업해 갑니다. (EUR 25/일) 차를 사용할 일이 있으면 주차장이나 호텔 리셉션에 얘기를 하면 20~30분 정도 후 차를 호텔 앞으로 가져다 주고, 주차 요금을 지불하고 받아서 나가면 됩니다.

Top lokatie. Hotel paar straten verder regelt deze kamers en totaal niet enthousiast. Je krijgt een introductie en een sleutel van de voordeur en van je kamer. Ongezellige entourage, kamer is gedateerd, vervelend gehorig om om 8 uur gewekt te worden doordat er voor je deur wordt gestofzuigd. Ontbijt is in het paar straten verdere hotel, waar een dakterras zou zijn, maar dat mocht ik alleen zien tijdens het optionele ontbijt... Kamer kan zeker beter voor die prijs, zie het hotel erboven: dat is beetje duurder, wel alles nieuw en toch in harmonie met de stijl en verzorging is daar heel persoonlijk. Dit hotel viel na verblijf bij de buurvrouw erboven erg tegen.

On entry to the room everything was ok. Although it was supposed to be a two bed room. The second room, was a small living room with a sofa bed and no door, that led to the en-suite. As we are one family it was fine! One of the curtains were hanging down and shining light through. Also neither tv’s had a reception. We mentioned this to reception. Their reply was that maintenance did not work on Sunday’s but they would sort out. (Ok) No action was taken during the remainder of our stay. But the issue with the bathroom. Which we complained and no action was taken. Is totally unacceptable, both the shower and sink were blocked and very quickly overflowed. The plug had been removed from the sink. So I assume it had been a problem before? With regards to the shower. There was soap and hair backfilling into the shower tray. After the third person in the room had used the shower it was flooding onto the floor. Also, the door handle kept pulling off the door and made difficult to close. Paying 800 euros for a 4 night stay. Iam very disappointed and look forward to hearing from you. Colin Clover

The centre of Florence
The location was very convenient for exploring Florence. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was in the associated nearby hotel, was very good and had a great view from the 7th floor of Florence.

They email the location for check in about 2 blocks away from the rooms. So be ready for that. The Repubblica B&B was good. The free breakfast is two blocks away on a rooftop. Breakfast was great and beautiful view.

Ottima struttura e ottima posizione. Hotel perfetto per visitare Firenze, data la posizione centrale ad 1 minuto a piedi dal famoso ponte di san Carlo. Inoltre colazione veramente eccezionale, internzazionale con molti prodotti anche made in italy. Sicuramente io e la mia ragazza lo consigliamo caldamente!

Location impagabile
Ho prenotato l’albergo tramite Expedia. Gli addetti si sono dimostrati da subito molto gentili e disponibili nel consigliare siti da visitare e posti in cui mangiare. L’albergo non è raggiungibile facilmente (nel centro storico circondato da srl) ma sono stato accompagnato fin sotto l’hotel dall’omino del garage (che si paga a parte 25€ al giorno ma ne vale la pena). Camera confortevole con vista straordinaria. Consiglio di leggere e vedere bene tutte le condizioni: a dispetto del nome b&b, la colazione non è inclusa (15€ a persona presso l’hotel a cui si appoggia). Consiglierei all’hotel di concordare dei buoni con il bar Gilli: chi prende un b&b non vuole spendere quasi il prezzo della camera per una colazione.

room is too hot
The room was hot. We asked for a fan, but they didn't have one. The air conditioner was not adequate to cool the entire room. The upstairs bedroom got very hot and was difficult to sleep in. lt was also confusing to get the key. I didn't know there wouldn't be anyone on site. It was not a smooth check in for that reason. The location is good. The front desk people were friendly and accommodating.

keep looking around don't stop here
this hotel was very hard to find not too many signs around. the elevator was very old reminded me of maxwell smart.there was no one at the hotel when we arrived. 15 mins later someone arrived. the room was totally different to the one on the website. bed was hard as a rock. we ask about breakfast the guy said you have to walk about 10mins to another hotel wasn't to convenient each morning.

Breakfast was fine. There wasn’t any cups or milk in our room but there was a fridge.When booking in it would have helped if the hotel we had to go to was clearly named and directions given.

FIRENZE E LE SUE BELLEZZE
Nulla da dire su posizione, pulizia e confort. L’unica cosa e che il servizio comprendeva la colazione inclusa, come da conferma di prenotazione, ma giunti ahimè sul posto, ci viene comunicato che non è cosi. Questo ha influenzato effettivamente sul servizio. Prezzo abbastanza in linea con quanto proposto.

Wonderful place.
Highly recommend this B and B. Right in the city centre and close to all points of interest. Staff were exceptional. Friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The breakfast was delicious and a great choice too.

Very friendly staff
I booked a room with bb. However, the Hotels.com sent the information to the Repubblika B&B indicating bb is not indicated. During my 5 days stay there, Hotels.com had not resolved the problem. HOWEVER, staff from Repubblika B&B offered us free bb everyday. The room is spacious, modern, clean and quite. It is physically on the plaza. During weekend, the plaza is busy till late at night. But inside the room, the noise level is around 25-28dB. It is quite.

La habitación es linda pero son unos departamentos muy bien ubicados sin servicio de hotel . Es decir el check in y out lo haces en un hotel a 5 cuadras . El desayuno rico pero es en el hotel a 5 cuadras también. . Así que es raro eso . Te sientes en un departamento alejado . Nos cuidaron el equipaje pero también a 5 cuadras. Si vas ligero te lo recomiendo .

3 day stay
We expected street noise ( street sweeper, music ) but we awakened a few times each night from hall noise. Of course our room was directly across from entry door. Avoid this room. The other thing that was bothersome was the lights from the room thermostat and heater. We wore face masks and earplugs. Breakfast was delicious! Friendly consierge. Newly renovated room. Clean!

Ubicación inmejorable
La ubicación es excelente, literalmente frente a la Plaza de la República. El desayuno es muy completo aunque tengas que cambiar al edificio principal. La habitación es mediana, y está en buen estado. Las camas eran cómodas y tenía 2 TVs. Muy recomendable.

Centrally located, but difficult to check in.
The hotel itself is in an ideal location. Right on Republic Square, just down the street from the Ponte Vecchio. However, the check-in is located at a different hotel on a very small side street, which we found difficult to find. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the street. It was very noisy at 1:30 and 2:00 am. The room itself had just recently been renovated, and was very comfortable. Everything is brand new. However, there was no hot water for the shower.

El hotel está situado frente a la plaza de la republica, buen ubicado, lo malo es que el check in y el check out lo tenes que acer en otro hotel situado a dos cuadras de distancia y ese trayecto lo tenes que hacer con valijas. El desayuno no está incluido, pero por 10 euros podes desayunar en el otro hotel (donde haces el check in) y es muy completo y variado.
